What do you mean by extra symbol? What symbol in the sequence did you choose to repeat? Did you do them in order or at the same time? I am wondering because I am at 9/10 of the lore books and I just want to get the last one

I meant that if you are in preservation one of the guardians have to do two symbols. 1st Guardian Melee 1st symbol 2nd. Melee 2nd symbol 3rd. Activate 3rd symbol 3rd can also shoot the 4th symbol It doesn't have to be done at same time, but you do have to be fast

Just to update, I got two others, including my brother, to help me with the puzzle. Had the two others just stand in front of the melee symbols, but not melee or anything (just stand in front of them looking at them) while I was at the "activate" symbol and my brother was at the "shoot" symbol. I would activate it then say "shoot!" which would signal my brother to shoot the corresponding symbol and that worked (with the two others simply standing in front of the other symbols the entire time). So, the "patch" last Tuesday prevents you from soloing it. We also did this in the Acquisition checkpoint in the raid and wiped after every successful puzzle completion until all 4 of us got all the lore we needed for the ghost. My guess is they never intended for this puzzle to be done solo, which explains why they patched it. Personally, I think it's dumb that you cannot solo it from each run of the Preservation mission. I feel like you should at least be able to solo that, even if you could only solve the puzzle once per week solo in the Preservation mission, I feel like that would be fair since that's how I got 9/10 of my lore from and I know many solo players got affected by this as well.
