I have been playing this game for a good long time, i stopped playing a year ago due to the dlc deletions and getting constant weasel errored. However i chalked this down to the cross save error. ive come back for the witch queen dlc and now dont have cross save on, and the only other thing that causes weasel is being banned. And im obviously not banned as im able to load in the game and play for a while before being randomly kicked out with the error. Help pls ty

Edited by Leroy Jenkins 2.0: 3/19/2022 4:40:48 PMI am having the same issue here. I am hardwired to my router, have checked multiple times for packet loss, made sure NAT type is open, done multiple power cycles on both my router and modem, checked for updates on my router, made sure that all of my consoles are fully powered off ( to ensure that it is not trying to log me in for an update), as well as check to make sure that all of my pc drivers are up to date as well. This happens several times every couple of hours.

Im beginning to wonder if there is a possibility of it having to do with the fact im using VERY old characters.

WEASEL is a split-off error that was previously grouped under CENTIPEDE. This split helps expedite investigations and fixes and will be easier to understand the specific issue the player is experiencing. we strongly recommend switching from WiFi to a wired connection, at least temporarily. This is an important first troubleshooting step to rule out WiFi signal strength/stability as a possible culprit
