You know how raid gear has an extra slot for raid mods, and avarice has an extra slot for artifact mods?
I would love if GM's dropped Adept Legendary gear that has an extra slot for Combat mods. It could still be balanced, it still only has 10 slots, and is still subject to RNG on getting good armor rolls, maybe cost 2 golf balls to MW. BUT, it could mean that players could run 2 CWL, Well mods on one armor.
For example, I could run Bountiful well and elemental ordinance on my pants. I would get wells from Bloom grenades which immediately feed right back into getting my grenade back, but If I do that it uses 6 or 7 slots, so I might not have enough room, and would have to sacrifice another mod.

let's just say they release adept armor with extra mod slot - you're still sacrificing which mods to place, just with an extra slot. Even the GoS armor slots are only effective for one encounter.

Check out my Warlock gauntlet build I used last night. I’ve said repeatedly I would NEVER USE UNSTOPPABLE SIDEARM MOD in a GM but that was before Forerunner. It’s very viable in this weeks GM. You just can’t spam the ammo because it only carries 70 in reserves. But it is very viable.

Technically it can be. Like I think it was last season where things like Argent Ordnance and Blast Radius were Artifact mods

Edited by leet: 1/4/2022 11:32:15 PMhell no! you know why? because you could become so overpowered with a build that peeks into one direction, i cant even even i vote for a drastic increase in guardian health points. In a world where you can shoot for a long time on one target... we guardians fall way too easy and this makes the game unnecessary fast and sweaty in the endgame. more hp in pvp or even pve = more fun imo the whole resilience system should be reworked completely, because guardian health AND shields should be scaled independently up trough items you put on, by your choice wich one you want more. or imagine guardians in pvp or pve dont have the "normal shield" but you could pick a element. i cant be the only one with visions

And buff exotic armor..so that if it is masterworked it has 1 more slot too for combat/champion mods.

Artiface should be able to slot 'adept mobility' 'adept recovery' etc, allowing for some freedom in armor stats
