Taking ownership of a defunct/empty clan
Hi,
I'm currently the last member of a clan that was created before the account migration from battle net, but despite being the only person in the clan I do not have access to clan functions. The old owner of the clan stopped playing and never transferred their account and it was deleted, as did every other member.
However, when looking at the clan information it still shows there being 3 members, despite the actual roster being empty.
Is there any way to take over the clan, or if I leave it will it dissolve so I can at least reuse the name/tag?

1 ReplyUnfortunately, until Bungie decides what to do with the holdover Battle.net-only Bungie.net profiles, your clan is in a state of limbo. Even if you leave the clan, it will still exist with 0 members.

Hey, Yeah not much you can do other than leaving the clan at this point, if you leave and you are definitely the only member left then the clan should dissolve and you can make a clan with the same name, you might need to wait a bit for everything to sync on bungies end but it should free up the name.

the 3 members most likely are those that didn't transfer their accounts from battle.net to steam. there is nothing you can do. bungie has not stated what they plan to do with these types of accounts.
