Swords (plz Listen)

In the TWAB i noticed that Whirlwind Blade got a nerf, i understand why you did this but its not a good thing at all. Yes, Whirlwind Blade has been the only used sword perk for a long time now, but that's not because it was too powerful. This season the Artifact Mods outclass the Sword option by far, and there are a bunch of reasons i will put below. But first i want Bungie to hear that the nerf wasn't needed Swords actually new damage perk options. (not buffed perks NEW ones) I understand that you cant throw new perks at us right now, but nerfing the only option we have means swords will mostly be dropped all together, i don't think that's what you intended Bungie. you should instead add a new way to use swords, something to match Whirlwinds power and then maybe we will use that and change up our game plan every now and again. (again i realize this isn't doable in a week or a small patch im not asking for you to be wizards here.) The reason you need to revert this is because Whirlwind Blade is a Balanced "Damage Over Time" style of perk. It synergizes with a swords play-style (Focused and continuous attacks) while requiring you to use the weapon the entire time. (unlike Anarchy or Witherhord where you can stow it and double your DPS) this should still be a viable style with Swords even if you add some variety. (The context info starts here) in Boss fights the sword is 1 of 3 things: Unusable, Bosses like Taniks that prevent you from getting in sword hits by killing you outright or the Consecrated Mind that are mostly Immune to anything but critical hits. A Big Risk, Sanctified Mind, Atheon or Bosses that can put out enough damage to kill you if your not careful. And Finally Preferred, Grask from lake of shadows or Bosses that cant push you and move slow enough to stay in your Well or Bubble. No matter what boss the only way to really use a sword is to attack the boss alone. Leaving a Well or Bubble can get you killed so Assassins Blade is too risky. Leaving a adds alive can also kill you because they will protect the boss or fling you out of your well by force making Surrounded also a bad option. Ammo plays a big part in that too because I'm never going to use a sword for add clear while i only have limited heavy (Glaives are gonna be great for this reason alone) in PvP there are two issues that make Caster frames the only real option ( attack range and ammo consumption) and they don't need Whirlwind because its already a one hit kill. On every other sword Assassins Blade makes you move faster, that's the only reason we use that. PVP is a very restrictive place for weapon rolls and styles so its more of a side note to give more info if anyone actually reads this.
