How about we help new players event?
How about an event where we help new players?
Anything they need? ( we were all new once.. )
Destiny 2 can be very confusing for newcomers or players just trying the free track..
I can try and help with pve stuff (I just can't help with raids... )
I'm in UK Timezone
Obviously cosmodrome is easist area to find new players.. but I'm here if anyone needs a hand. I'll try and be on when I can but I'm a parent. Mostly on after 8pm

1 ReplyWe do not need an event. It should just come as second nature to help new players. Just by doing the little things as we did in D1. Like, shoot to point at spinny metal and chests on the Cosmodrome. Doing the same by shooting to show how a public event becomes heroic. As I have stated on many occasions we used to message new players "would you like some help" but sadly times have changed and people think that is just creepy or weird.

Not everyone can make the event, people need help when they need it and Sherpa's help when they are available.

You gave me an idea, what if there was a Triumph of some sort. I know a lot of people that like to have everyone done. That intrinsically motivate people to do it. Maybe the triumph could be share wisdom ( xp bonus ) with 10 guardians under a certain light level.

I do Raid sherpas. As a parent who works full time, I am kind of limited as to when I can get online but as I've largely got to the point where I have everything I really want atm the bulk of my gaming time going forwards til WQ is going to be focused on sherpas. Feel free to PM me if you want help, or you want to help someone in this regard and we'll see if we can figure something out. I'm UK also so we should be able to make it happen!
