Intel Virtualization (BIOS option) causes game to crash ~90s after reaching character select

This started occurring for me on Thursday, Aug 26, 2021, and has continued for the past few weeks including after today's patch. Consistently, the game crashes about 90 seconds after I reach the character select screen no matter what actions I take in-game (including staying on character select). Disabling `Intel Virtualization` in BIOS options is a workaround for this crash, but that prevents me from using other system tools that I'd like to have access to. This issue was not resolved during any of the updates including that of today (Sept 16, 2021). OS: Win10 Pro (10.0.19043) CPU: Intel i7-7700k Mobo: Asus z270e Gfx: Nvidia 1080TI (Gigabyte) RAM: 32GB (G-Skill) Given that the Intel Virtualization workaround is reproducible, I do not believe a dxdiag report will afford any information that will help here, but I have mine available if needed. I've included samples of crash info below (from Windows Reliability Monitor), as there have been two different sets of crash info that occur when this happens:
Source bad_module_info Summary Stopped working Date ‎9/‎16/‎2021 7:06 PM Status Report sent Description Faulting Application Path: bad_module_info Problem signature Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: bad_module_info Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 00000000 Fault Module Name: StackHash_0000 Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: PCH_84 OS Version: 10.0.19043.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0000 Additional Information 2: 00000000000000000000000000000000 Additional Information 3: 0000 Additional Information 4: 00000000000000000000000000000000 Extra information about the problem Bucket ID: 0758bc351100ecb0a46f1e72d1780692 (120858127557)

Source bad_module_info Summary Stopped working Date ‎9/‎3/‎2021 4:19 AM Status Report sent Description Faulting Application Path: bad_module_info Problem signature Problem Event Name: BEX64 Application Name: bad_module_info Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 00000000 Fault Module Name: StackHash_0000 Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Offset: PCH_84 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Data: 0000000000000008 OS Version: 10.0.19043.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0000 Additional Information 2: 00000000000000000000000000000000 Additional Information 3: 0000 Additional Information 4: 00000000000000000000000000000000 Extra information about the problem Bucket ID: 7b9d3911f7cc7448e45088739e40546b (1463819909053043819)
