It all started with the beautiful Dawning tree at the tower in 2020. So sparkly and icy looking, made me chilly just looking at it. Until I walked near it, and then poof! broccoli error every time I got near it. So I spent the entire Dawning avoiding the tree, walking backwards to turn in bounties to avoid the tree, it was annoying, but I got by. I thought my issues were over after the Dawning ended. Even after the tree was gone, it kept happening, broccoli, broccoli, broccoli. I did every troubleshooting step you could possibly do, uninstalled and reinstalled things (even Windows for good measure), changed settings (systematically, EVERY setting), did exhaustive testing, replaced my power supply, motherboard, processor, upgraded to 32 gig of memory. But thanks to graphics card shortages, I am stuck with my good old reliable 980Ti. It works just fine on ultra settings everywhere but Destiny, no setting in Destiny prevents this problem from happening. After much frustration, and notes of what exactly was happening just before every crash for months now, 98% of my crashes happen when I am near or walk through a Duskfield grenade, doesn't matter if it's a friendly one, mine, or an enemies, Duskfield grenades are my nemesis now. I've tried every bit of advice on fixing shader issues, none of the fixes actually fix this specific problem. Pretty please take a look at the Duskfield shaders (and the Dawning tree if you plan to use it again this year). I really want to love stasis, but this has gotten ridiculous. And yes, I will buy a new graphics card eventually.
