Transmog should not be restricted

Regardless of whether this topic has been posted before and I'm certain it has, Bungie still is doing practically nothing to open up transmog and actually allow freedom in customization. Making the bounties cost glimmer is the absolute least you could've done just to say you did SOMETHING without really making it not super restrictive. Of course many of the old armor sets are sunset which prevents a lot of players from even fully utilizing the system from that angle, but that's another matter. This is the worst implementation of transmog I've seen in any game thus far, despite the microscopic alteration to the system. It should've always been a quality of life feature and not yet another (fifth) angle of monetization. Legendary shards are hoarded by longtime players with nothing meaningful to spend them on consistently and glimmer also hasn't had much use since season of Opulence, both currencies could easily be used for transmog and should. Especially given Luke Smith himself compared this system to WoW where it only takes in-game currency to use, and has NO monetization attached to it. Or reward synthstrand from completing nightfalls or iron banner, or gambit, raids, etc. And most of all, remove the damn cap. 10 tokens is half the season's worth just on the new armor set for example and even if there's a refresh of them that's still a paltry amount and arbitrary timegating for just pressuring players to spend more. Stop ignoring transmog being restrictive, it's not a fun system and each TWAB put out ignoring it isn't resolving anything except pushing the problem under the rug like with sunsetting until the 180 on that system.
