You guys still play Trials?

What if Trials gave you an armor set, like the solstice armor sets. You start with a white set and work to a purple set. First set upgrades will be fairly easy for even your most casual player to do, with the purple sets requiring at least a couple brain cells to be sparking to achieve. To masterwork the sets (Majestic) you will need to go flawless, but the purple set itself will be transmogable. Completing matches in Trials have a chance to drop Chroma that you can use to change the highlight of your armor (Red, green, blue, yellow, etc.). Winning a match gives you a higher chance of getting Chromas, and the flawless chest will give a guaranteed drop of a stack of 5 of a color. (The Chromas will also be able to be used with the transmog of the armor.) Finally, you can keep the guns as win-streak rewards, but ONLY the guns. However, allow whatever the current set of armor you have to drop randomly at the end of a match. While the sweats will want the weapons with good rolls, Joe Shmoe can work to the fancy trials armor and his preferred chroma.

  • And yet what about the pvp player base that won’t touch trials with a 9 foot pole because it’s a hot mess. Quite curious when they will stop working on trials as a whole and focus on the pvp sandbox as a whole.
