Just like Mayhem, 2x/3x Valor/Infamy, 2x/4x Nightfall rewards, etc. The idea of having a special week once or twice per season to allow 12-person matchmade "Mayhem" raids would be the perfect way to introduce new/solo players into the raid environment in a refreshing and low-stakes way. Even though I love raids, I have severe and debilitating anxiety that prevents me from running them on a regular basis with people that I don't know via LFG that I have to navigate outside of the game. Every other MMO has some sort of matchmaking or party finder features, FOR RAIDS, built INTO the game. I would argue that Final Fantasy XIV raids are similar mechanically to Destiny raids, and they have a Raid Finder built into the game. Look how successful that game is! I'm begging here, Bungie. We need an overhaul. We need accessibility and accommodation for all players to enjoy the best parts of this game. Apparently there's something planned for solo players in Trials according to the TWAB. We can do something for raids too.
