Cannot equip exotic ornament: "Requires Mod Item"
As you can (hopefully) see in the image provided, I have the Mindvault ornament clearly available for use on my Insurmountable Skullfort, but it cannot be equipped. Very unhelpfully, Destiny only provides me with the cryptic phrase "Requires Mod Item", and based on the limited search results, it seems this is quite a rare glitch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

10 RepliesThere is a visual bug where some ornaments will show on the exotic item but cannot be used unless actually bought/earned....thus why you see the “requires mod item” message since you haven’t actually unlocked the ornament. Bungie is looking into why these ornaments appear w/o ownership.
