Matchmaking needs

To plainly put it, matchmaking just needs to go into everything. If every single thing you create and build is tailored only for groups of 3, then you should be implementing matchmaking into everything. You still have alot of predominantly solo players, myself included, though I do engage with friends when I CAN, and I enjoy that. Therin lies the problem. People have lives, jobs, etc. so many can only really do solo, as they can't coordinate with friends, but why exclude possibilities of getting the simplest things like a great weapon from them just because they lead normal lives? It doesn't make any sense. Yes, you can ask for help, but that's still random people playing together. If you can openly ask for assistance in completion of anything at any time, why not just universally implement it into everything so there's no need to ask? It just queues up a team. ⚠️⚠️That's the basic point, now to in depth details⚠️⚠️ As a general player, I don't appreciate when an activity is declared "1-3 players" but very clearly it is not modified to accomodate for less than 3 players. There are no adjustments made, it just is what it is. So why state 1-3 players just for a tiny percentage of people that are capable of doing it solo? I know servers can be overloaded, but if you're doing crossplay soon, that means you clearly have the server space to accomodate players, you just choose not to. What it boils down to is this is pure art right? From the ground up, and art is meant to be shared as an expression of one's self, to be shared and appreciated by as many people as possible. There's no real valid reason for exclusivity beyond physical capabilities (server space, for example). The game already caters to a specific group of gamers, that's fine. The only separating factors needed beyond that is difficulty and gamemode types. Raids are pretty hard, and it seems like the community celebrates them, but many can't do those. PvP is a special group of people, many do not enjoy PvP, especially when growing numbers see it as poor project oversight, which you might want to address more. Gambit is another special group. Many, like myself don't enjoy Gambit. Then there's Nightfalls, Grandmaster Nightfalls. So there are already specifically catered groups of game modes, with specific groups of people that play them which is awesome. That means you've got good variety, and a great range of difficulty. PvP, going against real people is as hard as it gets, that's why its specialized. So why limit the players even further when they have so much that can be accessed and enjoyed? Open it all up to everyone without having to personally assemble a team. Its not hard to accomplish anything with randoms after you've reached the proper light levels, people generally pick up on the functionality of everything in Destiny pretty easily, and really think about it; there is a SOLID community of players who know all of the ins and outs, know what this game is all about, and what to expect, that's most of your playerbase, so why hinder the capabilities of your game further?
