Blaze walks over. “Hey Hook! You look fancy!”
-
“Thanks Blaze! Have a contract and point of contact is going to be at a ballroom.” Hook strokes his beard. “Still wondering how I’m gonna kill the guy without causing a commotion but oh well I’ll figure it out.” He checks his watch. “Id love a water if you don’t mind. Also how are you and Fox doing?”
-
“Really good!” Blaze smiles, but then starts staring into space.
-
“What’s on the brain Blaze?”
-
“Oh! Uh.....nothing?”
-
Hook glances suspiciously. “If you say so. Business is good I take it?”
-
“oh um....uh yeah.” He seems a bit frazzled.
-
Hook grows suspicious. “Blaze what aren’t you telling me?”
-
“Uhm....nothing?”
-
Hook grows even more suspicious. “Then what’s up with all of the zoning out mate?”
-
“Oh uh....” Blaze’s voice drops to a whisper. “I’m thinking of proposing to Fox.”
-
Hooks eyes widen. His voice drops to a whisper as he leans in closer. “When are you thinking of doing it?”
-
“I really don’t know....”
-
“Well if you need any help Just let me know! Have you gotten the ring yet?”
-
“Yup! And uh....no....”
-
“Well I’m happy for you. You know how to reach me if I can help at all. Keep me posted.” Hook reaches into his sports coat revealing the hilt of a glistening chrome 1911. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a large sum of credits. “Here ya go mate. This should cover my tab.”
-
“Yup! And thanks man!”
