Well my vault is taken up by armor really. I mean I have 3 sets for each years mod slot, that’s like 135 for just armor along, no infusing 3 of every exotic piece. It starts to add up if you are prepared.
-
If you have an armor set for each YEARs worth of mods, that’s only like 30 pieces since there are only 2 years worth of mods.
-
Edited by DriftedColt8917: 10/5/2020 2:48:08 PMYou need 3 sets for hive mods, 3 sets for fallen/taken mods, 3 sets for charge with light warmind stuff. 3x5=15 15x3=45 45x3=135 We’re on year 3.........
-
Yeah, what mods are in year 1 again? Oh right, the leviathan ones that got put on the crown armor and that is being vaulted.
-
Edited by DriftedColt8917: 10/5/2020 2:57:07 PMNo raid armor is being vaulted. And right now that mod slot also has all the hive mods on it, so yea it’s useful.
-
Edited by Crystilonus2011: 10/5/2020 3:01:24 PMNot what I’m getting at. There are no more useful mods from year 1. You can use Levi armor to act as crown armor, but the Levi mods are useless next month.
-
Edited by DriftedColt8917: 10/5/2020 3:03:23 PMYes they are, but currently they are useful. Right now if you want to use all the mods and not be stupid and use generic ammo/weapon mods you need those sets. Yes, I understand that it is changing, but that hasn’t happened yet so RIGHT NOW they are still useful. And I’ll believe it when I see it, Bungie has said a lot of stuff and not followed through, so we’ll see.
-
Who tf is crutching those leviathan mods 🤣🤣🤣🤣 did you need them for your flawless crown run? Haven’t used those mods since like year 1. Didn’t know it was stupid to use ammo mods lol please tell me more wisdom!
-
Edited by DriftedColt8917: 10/5/2020 3:09:46 PMNo one is crunching Levi mods, read what I have written, HIVE MODS ARE ALSO IN THAT MOD SLOT. And yes it’s stupid to use mods like “heavy ammo finder”. You should be matching affinities and using specific mods like Grenade Launcher finder, sniper finder, etc. Like using “rifle reloader” for 5 energy instead of advanced rifle loader(which is faster... and cheaper) for 3
-
Edited by Crystilonus2011: 10/5/2020 3:10:30 PMI’m aware, but the discussion turned to Levi mods not being useful come next month, and you made the case that they are still useful. By your logic of affinities, you would have to hoard 3 times the armor. Man, you must have to play a lot to get and keep all that armor. Nvm, looked at that. Artifact 41? Jesus. Doesn’t sound very effective.
-
Once again, read what I have written. I said the mods are useful because they have hive mods in them currently. You need to just chill out, I’m sorry my armor triggered you.
-
Edited by Crystilonus2011: 10/5/2020 3:15:03 PMThe MODS aren’t useful, the armor is. Use some basic comprehension. I mean, to each his own, but anything past 1075 this season is a waste of time and effectiveness. If I want a different affinity, I’ll just change the armor. The cost is negligible.
-
Edited by DriftedColt8917: 10/5/2020 3:16:53 PMChanging the affinity all the time is expensive. I’m talking about the mod slot, I could care less about Levi mods. I’m religious about bounties and I can do about 2 pages of bounties in under an hour, it’s pretty easy.
-
As it should be, if you’re doing it all the time. Endgame content isn’t difficult enough to warrant A) all those extra sets or B) constant affinity change. Also, double warden of nothing rewards and double lake of shadows rewards has made it to where I have a crap ton of aeons sitting in my vault as material holders.
-
I’m stocked up as well, but I’d prefer to not just burn through it by changing affinities. GMs are much easier with armament and barrier mods.
-
That part is true, but exact affinity changes for each one are not necessary. I didn’t see the effectiveness in doing this seasons, but last season was mostly a CWL or warmind suppression build, and they were a breeze.
-
Yea there were only a few last season where they worked, but this season there is a lot, so it’s nice.
-
I’m knocking Niobe out right now, but I feel like imma get bored enough to do them all in a week lol
-
They are all pretty easy with the exception of Garden World and corrupted. We did them both legit after god knows how many attempts only to find out here’s cheese for both that make them both easy as shit.
-
Why. They are changing the slot next season to cover a years worth each. In reality, you really just need raid armor and arrivals armor since those have the furthest sunset date.
-
Because they haven’t done it yet, when they change it ill change my sets to match, but right now I need all 3
-
This isn’t really correct. There’s a ton of armor you can’t get from collection and without confirmation of transmog needs a item to sacrifice to make a universal ornament you have to hold onto all of it.
-
I know I am. I have stuff from caydes caches in my vault which have no value except for the fact, cayde is gone and I can’t get those back if I delete them. Tin foil hat, house banners and shit like that
