I've been hearing some opinions pop up lately, and I actually agree with them.
1) Remove PL altogether, just get rid of it, give us a better reason to grind, and would solve the issue of both Casual and Hardcore players being balanced between in content. This leads to the next stuff:
2) Makes all playlists and shit repeatedly rewarding. Like strikes getting more rewarding the longer you play the playlist in D1, like how Prophecy is farmable. That sort of thing.
3) More items such as Temptation's Hook and Falling Guillotine. Legendaries that have cool abilities/are actually unique. They're classed with their own exotic counterparts in D2 when it comes to effectiveness, aka Black Talon/Worldline Zero, to an extent. Likely even moreso since their DPS [especially Guillotine] is massive. Armor should also have something unique to it, though what that'd be I am somewhat unsure [maybe proficiency in handling/reloading certain weapons which don't require mods? I dunno, haha]. This is the type of loot we need. Loot should be the reason we grind, not levels.
I feel the game would be far more engaging to grind and work for both unique and powerful loot, without being held back by levels, where all activities can be accessed but the skill alone is still required.
Like Call Of Duty, in a very remote sense. What I mean is, CoD has no power level but you must grind to get better weaponry. All weapons can be 'good' in their own way, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Except in D2 that means going into certain activities and etc, to gather these special armaments.
I have heard some of these ideas from other places, but I did want to bring them here to see what people would think, or if there are better alternatives.
