This game is going to die this year...
It gets worse and worse every single update.

Bungie is making bad choices. Even the streamers that they brought back to the Bungie HQ to try and fix it are talking crap about it. It is slowly dying and it will. I don't want it to but it will.

The game ain't dying bud. If it does then I'll come back here and say you were right. But you are not the first to state that Destiny is long gone and you wont be the last.

Right now it's okay, but it keeps losing people slowly and consistently. If they don't do something it will die. Old exitics make people come back for a month or so and then leave for 6 months. Eververse and seasons are their only forms of income and people buy it less and less because they keep charging insane money for it. A lot of people won't buy it because it's a lot of money and others just don't have the money. In the past random people said it it's true. But when the people that they brought in to their main offices to "Save" the game and improve it keep sayi g bad things about it, it's not good. We'll see what happens...

Its really not losing people tho. Like it really has been like this for ages y'all, we've survived the drought of Vanilla D1. We've made it through rise of iron and the spring update. I mean people keep saying destiny is dying but there are still consistently lots of people online. And not to predict the future... but if they bring back trials the player count would be through the roof.

Based on how it used to be. The amount of content being put into the game and the quality of life updates are leagues better than Destiny 1. Think back on the old days of Crotas end and House of Wolves. Look back and see how far Bungie has come from improving the game. Leave for one month and come back and you'll have more content than the entire game of Destiny 1. The game in general is much improved.

There is more content but it isn't great and I wouldn't say that the game is thriving by any means but I guess that's me.
