Protection needed for Override Frequency Nodes
I don't know what you guys have changed in this script but now iam unable to get the right Node on mars
I getting only completed nodes not the Non-completed nodes as before the change
Pls fix this Bungie this is getting frustrated if you lose over 100+ Frequency cards over an descrypter
that doesn't protect duplicates but let you farm months for it

I stopped bothering with nodes a long time ago for that very reason. Setting up excessive and tedious grind and PseudoRNG trying to stretch out a lack of sufficient content is just bad game design, and with Bungie, the reward is never commensurate to the amount of sheer aggravation it takes to actually do it... so I just don't bother. I'd rather sit here in Mayhem at the bottom of the scoreboard, tossing Suppressors at people trying to spam Blade Barrage and then killing them with Weapons of Light Subtle Calamity. ;)

1 ReplyPeople have been complaining about sleeper nodes for SO LONG, Bungie isn't changing anything at this point. Literally EVERYONE that has all 40 has put up with the same thing, it's just something you have to suffer through if you really want all of them. IIRC it’s easy to get to 30 - 35 ish. I’m presuming after all this time the inventory and orbit method still works? Just use that for the last few - I remember doing the last 7 of mine that way with no duplicates.

2 RepliesThe longer, less rewarding the grind, the less likely Bungie is to fix anything. Bungie doesn't want you to get all 40 nodes because the moment you do they lose leverage over you. That's why they've been focusing so hard on FOMO tactics while making the quests and bounties long and grindy while nowhere near balanced in terms of effort vs reward. If players get their loot, they'll have nothing to chase and so it is in Bungie's best interest to make getting rewards take as long as possible. As Destiny has proven, even if they're not having fun players will slog through the grind so long as there's a chance to get their loot. Even if that chance is small and regardless of whether they ever even get that loot.

I started doing this years ago, realised bungie RNG was involved, moved on and haven’t bothered.

Most agree the protection is set for somewhere around 6850 stems.

1 ReplyI wish I'd stop getting Resonate Stems after getting all 40 and all possible drops from them. I don't need them nor do I want them dropping every time I do activities on Mars. It's "the" number one reason why I avoid Mars.

It took me 18 months to get all 40. It’s not anything new or recently changed.

I did 40/40 and I've gotta say that was some seriously wasted time for an emblem I don't even use anymore.

Took me a year and a half roughly to get them all. There was a period of time I didnt mess with it because it was so frustrating. But at some point I got bored and went back at it.

Destiny 2 - How to get less Duplicate Override Frequencies (Sleeper Nodes) uploaded by SoloVG At the 2:34 mark, he presents a chart showing you the percentages concerning Sleeper Nodes. Basically, it's "where" you do the combining that determines where the node will end up. Make it "here", it ends up "there". Then, use the site braytech.org/checklists, and click on the sleeper node icon. There's a link in the description of his video. This site will show you what nodes you have left.

Do you make the nodes in different parts of the map? If you always do it at Ana's spot, there is supposed to be only certain ones you can get there.

4 RepliesYou are still extremely low on the number used. I want to say I was around 1500 when I finally finished and now wish there was a way to stop getting the crap cause it just takes up inventory and I don't have the time to sit and do what it takes to get rid of it all.

I agree. I went through that nonsense a while back. Sad to hear it never got sorted out, although Bungie really don’t have a habit of going back and fixing things. Seems if they don’t fix it at the time it just becomes a ‘feature’.

2 RepliesIf you know which ones your missing, it's more efficient to gather a large number of Resonate Stems and combine then delete them until you find one that needs to be opened. Doing this on the opposite side of the map, or while in orbit seems to help, but that could just be coincidence.
