Honest Destiny: Festival Gun is lazy, lame reskin job, not worth your time.
If you care about your time at all, don't bother
It is literally the same exact thing as the old gun. If you didn't get it back then I can understand - it's a beautiful gun model, that is otherwise unspectacular.
I'm a creative manager myself, and I tell my team I can spot pretty easily the areas when they actually put effort in thier work and vice versa. To have this old gun reappear with a simple skin is beyond lazy + year one sound effects...cmon. ,😑 lame. With a name like braytech wolf, you would think there would be something cool about it..aura, animation .anything... but nope nothing. Bungee once again toes the lazy line with this one.
If you want it go for it, but just letting you know this is a waste of space.
PS . I've gotten two of the Hive weapon so far and both of them are such blatant reskins that I erased all of them. I have better versions of the originals so there's no point farming for those. Its not like we have more vault space either.
Thank goodness for Eris Morns beautiful weapons because everything else right now is hot butter trash with yuck gravy sauce.

It isn't a very good weapon, and should have been a 360 or 720 archetype, IMO. 450s just can't kill quick enough in PvE or PvP. I appreciate that it couldn't be a God tier weapon because it is so easily obtainable - boring grind though - but making it a viable archetype would have been nice. Bungo all over though, isn't it?

4 RepliesWell my current loadout for Master NFs and Nightmare Hunts is Braytech Werewolf and Subjunctive so I don't know what your problem is. Year one weapons didn't have random rolls so at least we have that now with some of the Prophecy Weapons, this auto, etc. If in a game like Destiny you have only one type of play style then may be you're playing the wrong game.

The Werewolf is worth getting because it’s a 450 rpm AR with high stability, that you can get with outlaw and multi-kill clip. Seriously. This is a 30 dollar dlc. What you think Bungie should be giving you for that small amount of money is pretty ridiculous.

4 RepliesDude it’s actually a D1Y1 reskin of a cheap legendary auto. What did you expect? Making content is hard. Turning the light off is a cost effective solution for Bungie. At least they stopped cutting on the star employees’ salaries. Oh my bad, they’re all gone.

I got the Braytech winter wolf and now the Werewolf and I really can't tell any difference, they basically just reskinned Winter Wolf, lazy buggers!

Personally Ive been wanting Y2 (well I guess Y3) version of the Winterwolf so Im happy I finally got it. But otherwise yea I do agree that things were a bit lazy in the overall with Festival. Like everything was way too Tess oriented. I get that the events are supposed to boost Tess' revenue and thus help fund more events and special stuff like Zero Hour with unique stuff and thats fine WHEN DONE RIGHT.

Literally anyone could get the Werewolf the way it's set up. It's super easy to get. You don't even need to consciously put effort towards anything other than eventually buying the masks. You're complaining about something so minute, it's comparable to somebody complaining about having to walk twenty feet to pull the mail out of the box because it's just junk mail in there, it's not worth the effort.

It's a free event. Don't play it if you don't want to. It's celebrating Halloween it isn't supposed to be some mind blowing content heavy update.

I've barely even bothered with the event, seems like you get enough coins for most of the rewards just by playing normally, i might just do another run of the forest for the candy triumph but after that i'll just do moon stuff

1 Reply450s are the worst. They used to "the" best without a doubt. How the hell did they fall so low to the point of just being worth sharding? I think all autos still need a bit more buffing. Scouts? Yeah, let's buff that up 50% more or higher, 'cause they've been through 3 buffs now since Forsaken release and they still feel weak as sh*t in PvE. Bows do more damage and got an artifact mod and scouts didn't which means scouts are still useless this season for endgame.

2 RepliesMost do it for the triumph because they’re are completionists. If it’s good it’s just a bonus. And yes Eris’ weapons look cool but there’s a lot of other weapons in the game since yr1 in the same class that have better stats. All what is more important to you I guess.

4 RepliesCompletely agree. The werwolf simply isn't worth the wasted time. Also it has the ra-ta-tat fire sound like the Shadow Price from D1, which I never liked.
