I know that most grenades in this game are used for zone and corridor control but I think it defeats the purpose of a trip mine to give away its position with loud beeps and flashing lights.
Wouldn't it make more sense for this to be used in ambushes? I mean, it's meant to be a trap, after all.
EDIT: When I said 'Invisible' I didn't mean completely invisible. The physical part of the grenade would have to be visible, at least. And maybe have a pulsing light on it. But, no, not completely invisible. I was referring to the red light coming from it.

Invisible? Absolutely not. Maybe make less noise and be a little less obnoxiously obvious. Sure.

Then you would have to reduce the damage greatly (half at most). Also not having counters, or plays to make against something, is poor design imo. Invisible damage seems....like a bad idea
