I just want to address how destiny 2 feels, gameplay wise on console. Yes you can get used to it, but why not at least have an option to adjust the FOV? The aim acceleration is also an issue, I’ve seem many other games have the option to turn it off completely, if those two things were fixed I would argue that the game would feel much more smooth and more controllable on console.

One of the biggest reasons why adjustable FOV exists on PC, and not Console is simply because as you increase the FOV, there's more on screen thus more to process. And Destiny 2 is taxing as it is on Console. I just want custom keybinds for my controller, since R1 doesn't have any useful function for me as I play on Green Thumb.

Is the heavy full screen motion blur still in the game? Mine is still loading.
-
A FOV would make the 30fps graphics even worse on the console.
-
FOV slider in this game would be terrible on console. however, custom sensitivity would be a great quality of life change and is heavily needed imo.
-
I WOULD like to see FOV on console but it can’t happen. Research a little more and see why.
-
Yes, because FOV adjustment will fix the issues. D2 on console is locked at 30 fps with occasional frame rate drops, bump up FOV and the framerate becomes much more unstable.
-
How is it possible that people don't understand why this game doesn't have a fov slider by now???
-
FoV slider = lag. That’s the short version of why we don’t have one. If you want an FoV slider go play on PC. Destiny 2 is pretty taxing on a console and I can’t imagine how bad the fps would be with an FoV slider.
-
If borderlands has an FOV Slider, then I don’t see why destiny can’t.
-
More customisation options would be welcome for me. Custom keybinds too (the sprint toggle moves to the right thumbstick when you put the buttons in left-handed mode)
-
They really need to add an emote wheel to free up button binds for more useful inputs too. A good example would be that it allows us to bind class abilities to a completely different button without having to hold/double tap the crouch button; now Hunters can teabag with full dodge and Titans/Warlocks don't pop their abilities unintentionally when sliding across the floor. This would also be useful for weapons such as Hard Light, Borealis, or Izanagi's Burden by no longer having their ability bound to the reload button. I don't know why this isn't a thing for consoles.

Been on console since shooter started basically. Destiny feels like one of the most satisfying shooters to play gunplay wise. And fov? Probably a waste of time for console players for the most part.

Edited by WulfPak666: 9/30/2019 9:05:31 AMI don't see why all games don't have an fov slider. I personally don't use it because I don't really care, but I always see PC players saying they "need" it because they sit close to their monitors. Most console gamers I know sit close to their monitors/TV's too, so don't they "need" it as well? On a side note, can console get some reticle color change support? I want a purple reticle gosh darn it! While you're at it, let us change the in game dialogue to Japanese, German, Spanish etc.. I mean the audio files exist on my friggin hard drive taking up all this extra ass space... Let me use the thing, please. I even changed all my PlayStation settings to foreign languages and everything in Destiny was still English. Gwahh!!

I very much prefer playing console to be honest. Shooters, especially Destiny, just don’t feel satisfying with a mouse and keyboard to me. Only thing I play on pc is Command & Conquer. An FoV slider would be nice but it’s not a priority. What should beat priority is 60fps. There is no excuse any more for not having that as the bog standard minimum.

I just wish there was more customizable sensitivity. - ADS sens. - Hip-fire sens. - Vertical sens. - Horizontal sens.
