I mean, scouts are being buffed… but so are most weapons

Currently, Scouts are horrible damage weapons. They were the most balanced weapons in D1 and for some absurd and unfathomable reason Bungie gutted them in the release of D2. They APPEAR to be a possible option in PVE going forward, at-least enough that your friends won't feel the need to viciously mock you anymore. But in PvP they are still gonna be pretty crap, Jade Rabbit is decent at Long range, Polaris Lance will be decent, and an amazing rolled No Feelings will have some shining moments like it does now when you get the drop on people, but thats it. Literally 3(maybe 4 If you teamshoot with MIDA) scouts will be decent long range options but they still won't be great. You'll have a few games here an there with them. Pulses and shotguns will remain META. Just more options for pulses now. Without a buff to scouts in PVP the META will again stagnate. But I, myself, am not eager to see MIDA become META again. MIDA can stay where it is. I'd rather see 150s and 260s get a buff in PVP or atleast their base stats like handling and stability.

Better hopefully. I enjoy high impact scouts more then higher rate of fire ones. Also dont forget about polaris lance, it might also be really good
