So its no secret that with the launch of Shadowkeep, alot of new things are happening for the pvp community. But until launch , most of us are chasing pinacles , and basically trying to get as caught up as possible before we get all of this new content. I personally , tried my hand at competitive , reached fabled via solo queue , and have acquired 4 pvp pinacles that previously i had given up on. Big deal right ? For me maybe , but people do this everyday b , i'll be aite. But while i did this i figuired hey , let me see what this Twitch buisness is all about . Don't judge . Im 41 years old and was under the assumption that streamers dont and wont interact with you unless you subcribe , gift , and buy bits. Im too old to be out here paying for friendship and starvin for atn . BUT i thought maybe if i stream a pvp god , i can pick up on something to help me on the way ; if i dont get super frustrated and give up again . What i didnt know is how addicted i would become to this community. They're outright hillarious , and possibly the most loyal Destiny players ever . I set some guidelines for myself before i got too deep. What i mean is , i have a little exp with streamers on youtube when that whole thing started . I know Twitch is like og streaming service but i have YouTube premium for other things , so when guys started showing up there , i would tune in. Well it kinda reinforced my views , and im not gonna say any names cause thats foul , but these guys will answer your questions and be very nice to you at first , but if their channel picks up steam. and you arent heavily invested , you will get dubbed on everything as you're not high on the priority list . Even if you've been there for a year . Almost like a "super chat" . And these are pve guys. So , im like , ill check out the pvp gods on Twitch for reasons mentioned . BUT , im only gonna sub in 2 weeks when i get paid if their interaction game is genuine. Which is kinda dumb because these guys have already reached god status and dont need my sub , unlike the youtubers mentioned. So basically if youre fkn w/me i fks wit u. And they literally have no reason to . Which makes it genuine. Well , they've embraced my old ass(like really) and then some . And at any night you can find me there because i like to stream when i play. I've been gifted a sub to a god (i returned the favor and gifted someone else) and i subbed to another godlike streamer .Their community is the best ive seen out here so far. by far . And i dont think they get the credit they deserve. Hanging out with these guys on Twitch got me asking questions like , why arent there big sponsored tournaments where these guys can get the recognition they deserve ? Im sure they dont need it . They probably are content with just streaming and making videos on youtube. But , I had no idea who the top pvp players in destiny even were up until yesterday. Who tf is BSK ? IAM ? Thiccens ? I know hardcore pvp players would probably read this like "who are you noob ?" lmaoo!! The point im trying to make is they are gods and ive only heard of certain players in them and not their clans. We all know about the big Fortnite tourney that got worldwide exposure right ? Or how about the Apex Legends 500,000 dollar tourney being streamed , rn as i type this , on youtube?? Its a huge shame that Destiny , the best feeling fps out of them all , and has been around way longer than the other 2 , has no support from Bungie to promote their community with tournaments and such. And its not just base value like the above mentioned . Borderlands 3 is out rn. No disrespect to the pve streamers but uhhhh thats what they're streaming on Twitch . Pvp gods are streaming Destiny and bringing new viewers to the community. Just sayin . They support you . You guys should support them . Its only right. If you're thinking about joining the Twitch community but was hesitant like myself(also if your an old head like me ) check these guys out . They're super cool , genuine , and their community is the best out here .
