I doubt the community wants it back. Apparently a majority of the community disliked it and found it stupid.

I enjoyed the heck out of it personally. I didnt much care for the armor that came with it but I'm sure they could improve things .It was actually fun and who doesn't like collecting sparrows?

Me too. I loved SRL! Unfortunately I have met a few who do not like the game mode.
