Corsair Down Still not dropping, Still no Truth
This makes me upset, I haven't seen a single post (at least publicly) about Bungie fixing this error, and I am a player who likes to believe I can play one character and have fun doing that.
I shouldn't HAVE to switch to another character in hopes the bounty drops for them
it's been about a week in a half now since the quest dropped and I can't even be bothered to do the nightfall part until I get the subjectively easier bounty out of the way.

I have been killing scorn on and off non-stop going thru lost sectors repeatedly, running scorn related public events, killing every scorn I see, nothing.
how was I supposed to know a certain bounty would bug the bounty from dropping entirely.
all I am saying is me and others shouldn't be punished and shouldn't exploit the game to fix it.
please fix soon.

Edited by Art3mis_The_Imp/TTV: 7/31/2019 3:18:57 PMUPDATE: I got the Truth Finally, and I saw the patch notes about the fix. the only thing im upset about now is that they still aren't addressing a problem with the Corsair Down bounty, not dropping. which is a little disheartening right? like do they think it's still not broken and did this change of quest to calm the people who aren't getting these things to drop? or are they trying to cover up the fact one employ said it was working fine when it obviously wasn't for some players? well, don't be surprised if in the future the bounties just start dropping again and there being no physical update about it. I want an honest gaming development team. everybody messes up sometimes and I think most of us understand that. I also understand that they don't want to hurt their image, but by lying and other things It might not hurt the majority of the player base but some players are still getting hurt.

7 RepliesBungie's never gonna fix this bullshit. One of the posts from day 1 had a moderator saying that it was dropping and left it at that. They only looked at people that have it dropping and left completely forgot about those that have it bugged. I'm one of those that have it bugged atm, and in genuinely upset that they're not trying to fix it.

Yep same here, corsair badge not dropping at all, it makes me mad that I can't go any further into the game to finish a quest because there is something wrong with the corsair badge not dropping at all

I too have not gotten a corsair bounty and I have spent hours upon hours farming every god damn scorn enemy, public event lost sector blah blah blah. It’s NOT in my pursuits tab. I don’t have another character to get it on as my titan doesn’t have dreaming city unlocked. It’s broken and it’s a fact and the fact the no one is acknowledging it sucks.

Same issue here, completed every map fragment so far except this one just to find out it's bugged. My other two chars each have one, but i'm not in the mood to do 3 nightfalls again. I heard there is a glitch where you can get a copy of an already completed map fragment, but I dunno where you get it from :/

I glitched the ascendant part after you complete that one of you went ahead and got all the glitches map fragments from Petra then do noormal warden of nothing stroke not ascendant it drops you that map fragment so you can do it twice bypassing Corsair part I just deleted it

Go to you pursuit tab. It's a bounty. If you have already collected one there will never be another drop for it. It's a random drop from a random enemy in the dreaming city. If you have one already nothing will drop. Check your pursuits. It's not a consumable.

I don't need people saying Im not trying hard enough or not playing the game. I love this game but this is a slap in the face and it hurts. im not asking Bungie to make a game for only me to enjoy and bend to my desires and nobody else's. I would just like to enjoy the luxuries that everybody else gets to enjoy in-game.

I hate that I always get it when I really don't want to do it, but now that I need to do it, it's not dropping. ;(

It’s definitely bugged and will NEVER drop for you until they fix it. I did manage to finish the quest without switching characters. If you use the Petra glitch to get one of the fragments and complete it, you can get the same fragment a second time by doing it getting it legit. Completing the same fragment twice means that you can skip the Corsair down one entirely Ex: I used the glitch to get the Nessus kills fragment, finished it, then ran a nightfall and got another Nessus kills fragment

It is bugged and BUNGIE will not acknowledge the bug. I had to switch characters to get it. I am MAD because BUNGIE will not even admit it is a bug.

15 RepliesI wonder if something happened in the code or whatever, when they released the Truth quest, or Season of Opulence, that is causing it not to drop. Fortunately, I had the Corsair Down in my inventory on my characters prior to these, so I didn't have to go searching for it. I hope they fix it for everyone else soon.

well, it's official another 2 to 3 hours of my life has been stolen trying to pick up a bounty that won't ever drop. if this is the kind of support I will be getting on steam I will not play, this is stupid.
