I’d even argue that Borderlands has better characters and writing. While Borderlands can try too hard to be funny, it’s memorable and the characters are a lot of fun. None of Destiny’s characters stuck with me except (maybe) Cayde, and he only worked well because Nathan Fillion is an incredible voice actor.
