Im glad there will be a separate playlist for SWAT, I've been getting it waaaaaay too much. All in all I'm quite pleased with this update. EDIT: Getting booted is really annoying though, I always get screwed over by it. I hope this will allow some leeway from accidental team deaths (which I apologize for) and stop some random on my team from grenading me to bits because of his desire to have the sniper. Thanks for the answers to my betrayal question. I do agree that 2 strikes is preferable to 3. I wonder why they're going back to the old Halo 3 way, which was pretty clearly not the best (since they changed it for Reach). The number of players griefing in Reach is not small, from my experience. And from the griefer's perspective, when your fun and games is frustrating other players you will always succeed, so the problem isn't going away.

So my understanding is that you are NOT getting rid of SWAT, but giving it its own special place right? As far as I am concerned SWAT is one of the most addictive, fast-paced, fun styles out there. Also, in response to the problem with betrayals,I am so glad this is getting changed. My son and I play alot and what I find annoying is when we get betrayed, we look at the situation of how it happened. If we were in the middle of some massive battle and explosions everywhere and we just happened to die during it or were foolish enough to jump in the middle of someones rocket launch or grenade throw then we are not going to boot the other player. In fact we very rarely boot someone unless it appears intentional. However, all the other unpleasant players out there (you know who you are) don't care and I think take pleasure in booting someone. As soon as they jump in front of a rocket or come to close to a stuck elite and die-even though I was trying to help them-I get booted along with my son. This needs to stop. All the immature players out there need to stop mass booting people for their own stupid mistakes. Please, please fix this.

This literaly has nothing to do with the subject at hand i was playing halo reach a minute a go and i was playing infection i was a human all by myself there were 2 zombies in front of me i shot my shotgun right when he killed me it said betryal and the kid booted me you guys should fix it

Anyone tell me why it's being changed?[/quote] See the thing is with people is that some of them want to believe that the betrayal on them was indeed on purpose and will not consider the fact theat it was an accident. That being said I think that the new system will be much better than it is now. Sure there will be those people who abuse the betrayal system, and there always will be. However this is just something that everyone has to deal with every once in a while.

When I hear about credit farmers and how bungie is hard at work to put them down with the all mighty ban hammer I can not help but ask myself one question. Why are people credit farming? Perhaps it is because of the prices on certian things in the armory? *coughs inclimate weather and pestilance* Maybe if we lowered the prices on some of the armor and effects, then this problem wouldn't exist. Seriously who wants to spend the whole day trying to get 100000 credits just so they can buy a helmet that later on also requires more credits for the add-on pieces?

Anyone tell me why it's being changed?[/quote] It's being changed because idiots were abusing it and doing stuff like sitting on tank turrets and drop shielding teammates as they fire a rocket launcher just so they could fake a betrayal and boot people. This is why we can't have nice things. Now the team killing sniper grubbers will take advantage of the 3 strikes rule too. It's a lose/lose situation for good players who play nice. All the changes are great, except softening the betrayal-booting system. It works well now. A griefer gets booted right away. Giving griefers 3 kills before they get booted, like in Halo 3, is two too many kills. Teammates know when it's an accident, and can decline to boot. Anyone tell me why it's being changed?

Just a general question, because it's driving me mad - is there a radio on Sword Base? I've found the radios on all the other maps, but I can't see any on Sword, and it's bothering me. I'm up sleepless nights, searching the corridors for the faint hiss-crackle-bloop of a manpack radio. Please, put my mind at ease.

Maybe there should be a thing where it says your going to get booted and you have one more strike before your out of the game to insure accidental kills don't result in loss of credits.

Well its good SWAT gets its own playlist because I love getting headshots and assassinations. I just think that you should leave snipers because I love that mode. The only thing I don't like is all the "Pro" and DMR's. I hate having to use the DMR to bring the shields down. Get rid of just DMR's especially on Countdown and Swordbase. Its annoying trying to shoot there heads till the shields pop. By the Way what happened to Gen. Defense in the game? Bring that back for the three on three. and Arena should have more playable options. -That is all

So Bungie's gonna drop the values for ?medals? while playing gruntpocalypse? I dunno about that. To me this just seems like hacking up the equivelencies of the different game modes. This is not good. Killing grunts in campaign's gonna be unequal to firefight? Thats ridiculous, and it STILL doesnt make me want to go and play different playlists. Killing grunts is great, is fair way to level up, end of story.

thats stupid.. why take pro out of arena? isnt that what arena is for? now people are just going to run around with stupid armor abilities.. just fix the pro by takin out radar and leave it in arena. or make a mlg playlist and let mlg handle it, theyll do a good job.
