ASotF: Chapter 5 (FANSTORY)

Hello hello, this is an early post, so I can get the next like twenty chapters written. As usual, constructive criticism is welcome, and hope you enjoy. REMINDER: Feel free to ask, if you want to, to have a character crossed over! I have done this before, so please, feel free to PM or comment down below! Chapter 5 Hitting into orbit on Nessus, they flew to a part of the Vex constructed skyscrapers built centuries ago. Hearing her door open, Mira saw what seems like a Cabal Psion waving her out. Here goes nothing, she thought. Stepping outside, she was appalled by the alliance that was secretly formed under the Vanguard’s noses. Fallen sharing drinks with Hive, Thrall eating the bones of animals along side the Cabal War Beasts, and Awoken, training what looked like hacked Vex units, on how to use Queen’s weaponry. “What… I can’t believe… what…” “Save breath, Awoken. Will talk inside. Old friends tracking us.” “They’ll kill all of you, they probably already saw-” “They can’t follow. Cloaking tech and jammers around perimeter of base,” hissed the frustrated captain. “None enter, none leave, without permission.” Entering the cave that has been surprisingly made to look similar to the Reef outpost, she saw Variks pointing some Cabal to lift some heavy boxes with what seemed like Black Armory tech, and even some old armor before the Red Legion invasion: she saw her old Light Beyond Nemesis, some Dead Orbit robes, even a bond she once created from Oryx’s throne world. After all, Spirit Hawk has been the one fireteam they send to raid the enemy’s most powerful bastions. Looking back at Variks, she speed walked, almost jogged to him, confused. “What in the Light’s name are you doing HERE?!” she yelled, getting looks of fear and guns pointed at her. Variks raised his hands in defense of her anger. “Red Legion attacked outpost. Was trapped under heavy debris. Then, Awoken guard, with Fallen captain and two Guardians, saved me. New base here, preparing for…. Whirlwind,” assured the new black cloaked vandal. “T-That doesn’t make sense, you were confirmed..” “Dead?” he interrupted. “Yes. Petra saved me trouble. Loyal, is she.” He walked over to a chair made of parts of skiff and chitin material. “You, Mira, will replace The Guardian soon,” he said, chilling me to my core. “He’ll kill you all if he finds you, you can’t be found!” “Not if we can help it, lady,” replied a Guardian in full bright red, helmet on, and ready to fight. “I am Nix, Reef-born Guardian, former Shadow of Yor. And this,” he points to a Hunter, it looks like, “This is Isaac-2, first guardsman of the First Tower, the Last City, and beyond.” “Hey, you must be Mira, famed Warlock of the fireteam of god slayers,” Isaac responded. “Wondering how we got here? With our ghosts?” he asked, pulling out a ghost with a look of fear. “Oh, oh Traveller, I see the sun-” the Ghost stops, looked at her. “Guardian? Where’s your Ghost?! Hurry and send back up NOW! Please! Do it n-” Isaac covers the ghost back up, and sticks it in his pocket. “I’ll tell ya, he’s a bit chatty.” Mira look around and think of any possible plan of escape. She felt the Light within her still, as if Ghost never left her or… She felt like her skin is on fire, but also electricity is touching the ground around her. Everything in the room fell quiet, and the two Guardians grabbed their weapons, aimed at me ready to fire. She felt weird though, this wasn’t anything she’s ever done before. The ground began breaking, and floating by her side as she hovered over everyone. Mira heard yelling and things taking cover, Hive getting ready to fight, Cabal shielding, and Fallen with blades on shock. Mira opened my eyes, and she saw herself from a different perspective: her eyes were red, almost crimson like blood. The air was static filled, and her hair turned white. Out of nowhere, without meaning to, her hands burst into multicolored balls of energy. “She knows what she is now, but not for long,” Variks says, unaffected by her transformation. She then feel dizzy, and blacks out with a thud on the ground, followed by other thumps that boomed around the hollowed out room. “Guardian, see anything?” asks The Guardian’s Ghost, scanning the area outside of the patrol zone. “Nothing,” he replies, as he slows the ship down. “Wirven, I’m going to setup camp in the clearing here, I need you to go out and see where the trail leads off to.” “Understood,” Wirven replied, landing his ship. This ship was made by Ana Bray’s sister before she disappeared, but it’s hull was damaged in the Cabal invasion. “Hey,” Khalid said. “Should I begin looking for any clues as to what may be nearby? Might give us an edge on what we are dealing with,” he suggested. “I think we know what we’re dealing with, but do look around, I’m going to get the gear I need for this… excursion,” he replied, hauling a crate out of the bush it lazily transmatted into. My old friend, Wirven thought as he pulled out a rusted but sharpened machete from the crate. Just like old times, before any of this happened.
