This idea might be a bit blunt and straightforward, but it's better than nothing. Saint-14 had his light drained out, right? Well, why don't we just take his corpse and toss it into the rift full of his light?
-
One thing wrong with that
he is not currently dead so it could change the timeline massively
-
no, that's not how it works. there cannot be a "lake of his light" since his light was destroyed when it was drained and the lore tab of the perfect paradox implies that we will meet saint either in the past or future before he dies, but he has to die in order for his gun to be destroyed so we can reforge it
-
He will meet us in the future then he goes back and becomes a legend and dies
-
Eventually we give him Perfect Paradox. Assuming we go back in time and encounter a newbie Saint-14. Unless someone pulls a Warmind on us and completely rewrites Canon or pulls another ''folkyourlore'' on us again.
-
Perhaps, in certain circumstances a guardian could be resurrected given they have light left. But in saints situation his has been drained, but there are ways still the Traveler is awake and that can be another way. Perhaps a different timeline in which he still has light left, but then again it’s a Perfect Paradox.
-
If memory serves, some point we have to give Saint-14 Perfect Paradox, right? Either we travel back in time or he travels forward in time and we give it to him.
-
lol no
-
We have a chance to see him again alive, but he will always be dead. I want to go into specifics, but...
Im too tired to do so.
Watch my name is byf' s video on saint 14
-
Even The Drifter doesn't believe he's dead. He said it during a pregame before we fought the Fallen.
-
<No... but thanks to time travel we may see him again.>
-
We can try everything under the sun... No. He isn’t coming back.
-
In a way yes.
