Basically put, when the Nightfall Challenge Cards were introduced, you had to do a Prestige Nightfall to get the challenge card. Later down the line in Warmind, Bungie introduced the Five of Swords via Xur, which was a better, and upgraded Nightfall Challenge Card. At the time, there was a bug where you were able to have both cards on you, which was patched long ago. What has just come up to our knowledge, is that whoever played during that time, and had a full inventory, was able to force the rare Nightfall Card into their postmaster after completing a Prestige Nightfall during the Summer Solstice of Heroes event. Doing this allowed them to pick up the Five of Swords Challenge Card, and then go and also pick up the rare Prestige Nightfall card. Well, Prestige Nightfalls don't exist anymore, and what this is doing is applying x2 Extinguish Modifiers, and x2 Singe Modifiers, on top of what you can select and apply through the Five of Swords. Five of Swords has a Max of 110 Handicap + Singe + Extinguish + Blackout + Matchgame = 7.35x Score Multiplier. Having the other challenge card as well adds to this with it's built in singe and extinguish, 7.35x + Singe + Extinguish = 8.75x Score Multiplier. It is literally impossible to do this for anyone who wants to attempt or compete for Global High Score Nightfalls because Prestige Nightfalls are non-existent now. A few players still have this rare card that should've been traded in upon picking up the Five of Swords, making it an unfair, incontestable playing field, yet the API still tracks the scores. Bungie, you should really fix up your kinks and tidy up how items are removed from the game, when that was the original intention of introducing the Five of Swords, otherwise, why let it exist and work as intended when its been removed from nearly the whole community except for the smart, select few?
