Why I feel Betrayed by Bungie

Dear Guardians, This is an open letter to all of Destiny, aimed at addressing something important to me. Before I carry on I wan to give you some background about me. My experience with Destiny began when the Destiny Beta came out (summer of 2014). After that I bought the game in December of the same year a couple days before the "Dark Below" came out. I remember vividly getting the game, grinding to get gear, doing the vault of glass and crota's end, playing crucible and making real friends. From there on I got every expansion day 1 and I grinded a ton ! I have put in more than 1.7 thousand hours into this game. As you can tell it played a really important part of my life during my teenage years. When Destiny 2 came out, despite being skeptical, I bought in the first couple of days because some friends told me it was good. I played it for a while, tried to like it but I couldn't... So I left. Now, a year and a half later, the game is fixed and I feel eager to play again! But you see... this is where the problem arises. In October Bungie released Destiny 2 for free which made me feel like a complete fool for buying the game at full price when it wasn't even good! Now that the game has been improved, I would have to pay 65$ to get the latest content and play with my friends. I am not going to buy the season pass because I feel like Bungie didn't value me, my time and my money. They didn't even compensate me at all... they didn't compensate any of their loyal players. The conclusion is that I want to get back to Destiny but won't be any time soon because Bungie didn't treat me or any other player the way we deserve. If you have an opinion on my case or a personal experience, you are more than welcome to comment down below. Have a great day

Any time the conversation shifts to compensation due to something becoming free I immediately discount the person saying it. That’s not how it works in the real world, kid. It would be like going to a store and expecting them to accept expired coupons. Things change price all the time. Not like you can constantly get things/get something back because you purchased it st s previous price point.
