Again. it would be really confusing with the ODST's too.[/quote] The Spartan's in Reach aren't cannon (Apart from everyone of them being to old for the Spartan III program, even if they weren't they would have been dead by the time of Reach anyway),neither is the ending of Reach, it doesn't match the 'Fall of Reach' book ( untill they re-wrote it ) In all the Halo novels it explains that Spartans knew who were who inspite of their exact same armour, that goes for Spartan II's and III's. They wouldn't be customizing their armour ! They're only like that in the campaign because Bungie wanted people to play campaign and multiplayer and look the same. Director HAS the right to alter it in any way, They Can make Hogs into Ferrari, Grunts into Children and Spartans into strippers , If a Director Sees a Spartan as a Super Soldier with a taste of personalized armor , then it is Canon whether YOU like it or not. You are entering some 1 else's Universe, Above all else, respect is your first priority. And its 'Canon" not a 'Cannon", Artillery pieces and tank mounted Large caliber Guns have nothing to do with "da story" --- PS: Games over write Book "canon", like it or not thats how it always is and how it always will be, A vision of a Developer of the Title surpasses the Vision of "educated" writer who wanted in on the Dough of halo Franchise.
