In an interview, Bungie producers were asked by fans a few months ago,
‘What puzzles do you bear?’
They just looked at each other confused and said, ‘what?’
The interviewer had to explain to that the cryptarch usually says it when standing near him…
They skipped the question.

Not surprising. Bungie is a big company. 700+ employees. They are separated into their own smaller teams focused on developing their own small piece of the game. So, it's not reasonable to expect that any single person there knows every thing about the game, such as all the dialogue of a character. Then againe, this is also why Destiny has so many issues. Too many cooks in the kitchen leading to poor communication, poor consistency and ultimately a game lacking so many basic things.

‘Every single person’ I think you missed the part that said ‘PRODUCERS.’ If we shouldn’t expect the producers to know/play their own game, then who the hell should we expect to be knowledgeable about the product they are selling and hyping? Don’t make excuses for them. It is a failed company that embarrassed itself at every corner. Do I need to remind you of the ‘throw money at the screen ‘ incident?

Oh I rarely make excuses for them, look at my post history, I criticize quite frequently, but this is one of those things I can give a pass on due to having some game development experience on a much smaller scale. Large scale products like Destiny...there is a whole lot to keep track of in games like this, making it very easy to forget things, and it's ESPECIALLY the people at the top, the Producers (just a title for "decision-making boss"), that I wouldn't expect to be able to recall a specific thing like a line of dialogue. They're the jacks of all trades, masters of none of the group, dabbling in all areas of the game but far and away from being experts in any of them. Just my opinion, of course. Also, I'm actually not familiar with the "throw money at the screen" incident, lol.
