Stormcaller does more damage than it. That's right I said it. So i was on my friends account on his 592 warlock and took it to Kali. These are the general numbers I got. Chaos reach: 270,000. Stormcaller with landfall: 190,000. Dawnblade: 200,000. Nova warp: 230,000. Nova bomb, chaos: 134,000. Nova bomb, hunger: 113,000. You probably are thinking "there's no -blam!-ing way stormcaller does more than nova bomb," and in terms of dps, you aren't wrong. However, if you go into the raid and just test your damage against kali...theres a good chance you will find yourself disappointed. Keep in mind, the 113,000 is WITH the full vortex. The 134,000 is from 1-2 axions instantly detonating on the initial bomb hit. But yeah, for boss dps, I found nova bomb to be COMPLETELY laughable. There's no defending the sheer lack of power is has against anything other than trash mobs, which I guess it's more or less designed for, but that's just pathetic. If you are wondering how I tested it, I just stepped on the plate till Kali came to shoot me off, I used the supers and of the damage I dealt, I saved that general number. With the mobile supers she would run away near the end of their duration, so I then tested it against her after getting her in the middle where she charges her weapon. Added the difference just to make sure I made as minimal mistakes as possible. I have no idea if you get any buffs for Kali, but I'm going to assume no.
