It isn't an entirely useless class. The beam is great ranged boss damage, especially with geomag boots. Landfall is great in close for ending supers when they think they have you dead to rights and hesitate. I can agree with the blink movement, and I would love to see perpetual charge from D1 come back. Where kills with a grenade gave you your melee back and kills with your melee gave you your grenade back. For me that plus landfall made the stormcaller my favorite in D1, even if my super was just a glorified trash mob sweeper. It isn't horrible, just very situational.
