I remember Arc staff taking 2 hits to kill other roaming supers, but , recently I've been noticing it takes 3? Was it nerfed again??? When put against other roaming supers now it swings to slow to compete against them, in regards to the lethal damage they can inflict within the same amount of time. Do the other melee supers take 3 hits too now? Because if not, that's pretty dumb, considering how short the duration of arc staff is to begin with. [u]Especially[/u] when using way of the current. You hold that button down for the whole duration of the super and the super lasts [u]8[/u] seconds, I timed it. And maybe its supposed to drain extra energy because it blocks and reflects, but sentinal shield doesnt drain energy [u]holding[/u] block, and blocking with banner shield actually makes it last [u]Longer.[/u] And uh...the blocking and reflection mechanics on Way of the current are...crap. It wont block damage from all sources (Nova warp (big suprise there :/ ) chaos reach, burning maul, the secondary explosions from the top tree of hammer of sol, etc. And the reflection mechanics are somehow even more inconsistant than tempest strike, which has like, a 40% chance of actually goong straight where you aim it and not going 40° off target for some odd reason only bungie knows. Like, 90% of the time, nothing gets reflected, even it I am [u]right in front of someone who is firing at me with a shotgun[/u] No reflect. If I am reflecting point blank shotgun blasts, I shouldn't have to waste more super energy off of my now 10 second super (before swinging) because I held the reflect button down for 0.00000000000000000083820 seconds, and it didn't work properly. Now I'm stuck with 20% less super meter. Also if it can relfect dawnblade strikes and hammers like, once in a psychedelic Lsd Rainbow moon, why cant it reflect a shadowshot bolt? The shadowshot bolt [u]Literally dissapears. [/u] If Nova warp is going to be so good, and its not going to be brought [u]Down[/u] to the levels of other supers, then I, personally, would like to see all the other supers brought [u]Up[/u] to its level please, and I think the community agrees.
