The Arcology is such an interesting place and is HUGE, yet we are limited to only one strike; Savathun's song
It's a golden age area full of mystery and lore. You would think Bungie would explain the hive worm or sea creature we see lurking around in the waters, yet this planet seems largely undervalued.
It would also give Bungie the chance to give more lines to Sloane, a character I actually really like.
Bungie, please give a cool new strike to Titan, I would very much appreciate it.
Every planet should have 2 strikes, so this leaves Titan and Io needing some much needed attention
-
And Io too!
-
-
What system are you playing on? Playstation may have an exclusive strike on Titan.
-
Moon. Not planet.
-
Man out here spouting truth. My only problem is that I have a special hatred for Savathun's Song. The twist loses its effect after the 30th time and, since I got it on launch, I got that strike way too frequently.

I think they should design an area in those bio domes, the area you see at the end of the vehicle mission/ beginning of cayde cache quest. Huge lush forrest and country side, you look up and remember you're in a destroyed interior.

Edited by Fishyb: 10/8/2018 3:46:37 PMAll the D2 planets (bar Forsaken & Mars) all need a defined list of collectibles to search for. It would show them off much more and give people a reason to explore them and appreciate the artwork and vistas. They have an in game lore section now, where’s the work in putting those scannable objects already in the game onto check lists in the lore section? It would give people a reason to revisit and explore the old planets we otherwise wouldn’t bother going too.

Edited by ZoniCat: 10/8/2018 6:03:54 PMTitan: "Guardian, Sloane Here. We've received reports of a massive crossfire between the Fallen and the Hive. Problem is, it's on our turf. Go clean this mess up." - Team runs forwards a bit - "Oh, I forgot to mention, we sent in some back up" - 3 Drake Tanks drop down from vanguard ships - Strike proceeds as normal. No drake health restore pads or anything, if you blow up you lose it. Really tough enemies, but the drake destroys them. Eventually you reach a location with a spider walker and an Ogre (Phogoth size). You take them down. If you lost the tanks a while back you can kill nearby fallen scorch captains for a bit of extra fire power. You have to ditch the tanks to sneak through some sewage tunnels; after exiting the tunnels you find the bosses: 1 is a fallen captain, the other is a hive knight. Both of them have immunity shields. There is an old broken down drake in the back; You and your team have to sneak across the battlefield to bring heavy parts and repair the drake; Ala Machinist mission or that old Death Zamboni checkpoint. After that you can use the tank to destroy the permanent shields on the bosses, then they go down like normal. Throw in some ogres, shriekers, resilient shanks, and fallen ships (which you can use the tank to destroy the turrets of) and you got yourself a 2nd titan strike.

not trying to cause problems but titan is a moon of Saturn just to let you know

-Titan -Planet

Omnigul for a 3rd time anyone? Lol
-
Titan is my low key favorite planet

Edited by Seraph: 10/8/2018 2:22:01 PMThe Arcology is Amazing. The rest of it can sink to the bottom the ocean for all I care.
-
all the planets need A LOT more love
-
Titan is still great for Flashpoint and with another worm god lurking in the methane depths, there may be more story to take place on Titan in the future which would open another strike. Eventually the game should start re-purposing planets for additional content like they did with Earth in both the Osiris and Warmind cycles.
-
it is sort of like a chair you never use yet you plan to
-
I agree, Titan is pretty great but a bit underused, imagine how cool it'd be if you could go down to the seafloor (think like the parts in Halo 2) and have a couple of boss fights down there, maybe some kind of unique Hive sea monster thing. Could even have us go out in diving suits or something for the fight.
-
The Moon had the same problem in D1. A small public area with a massive expanse in the hellmouth that was reserved for just a few story missions.
-
Year 3 buddy.
-
Why a strike? Just expand the patrol area and give it some lore, secrets, mysteries, etc.
-
-
Same with IO
-
To make me not resent it so much
-
Yeah, despite only 1 strike I like her too. Would be cool if all planetry desternation vendors had more... More. >_> <_<

I found Savathun's song song strike to be rather boring and the dialog is rather weak compared to other strikes. How ever, I do think titan is in need of another strike, and i have seen this idea where the hive take control of the sea monster and you have to go fight said monster. Don't remember where I saw that idea but it sounds rather interesting.
