Putting aside other Gambit issues... I think I just had the single worst match of gambit... ever... Now granted I've seen people getting up, going to the bathroom, and whatnot, but this one took the cake to a new level. Match loads up. Players in the normal lobby. Drifter says lay on. I and 1 person move off of spawn. Radar shows the other 2 are lagging behind on spawn. Ok. We go to town. Put in simple enough work on the first wave. 2 players still immobile for the second. I disengage, pull the GT, and report for severe connection issues. I resume getting back when invader is in. The other player and I have 10 motes respectively. Sleeper wipes the team. Well. 2 players still AFC. Us two running scout primary, shotgun secondary, and sleepless RPG for bigger mob pulls. I switch to my sleeper. Next round of invader rolls around. No heavy for me, but... one person finally starts moving and gets shot. The score for us? Is still zero. Two players are not going to make up for 4 on add control duty. I again switch my loadout and keep sleeper. The rest of that round is opponent primeval dead. I kept clearing the plate while the other guy left goes and dies to adds and the one AFC and last guy leave and get removed from the match. Simple enough feedback Bungie. No sweat lost on my part. An entire round went by and we scored zero points primarily because the amount of time to get ammo, get to plate, kill another 2 majors basically still had them doing short deposits to keep us busy. The bank only got open when the primevil was less than 50%. Join in progress was the same issue with two new players dying to normal adds. I still don't understand how people can be so reckless, but hey, I guess some have to value lack of tactic values. I just never figured I'd get a match with 3 players that low on the intelligence scale. Anywho. Feel free to chime in with any similar experiences or otherwise. Gambit is rapidly turning into an issue game mode again based on my experience.
