Has anyone had an exotic drop yet?
Just as a general question. I've been playing the DLC since Wednesday now. Some of it was of course before 50 and a while after 50. So far none of the powerful rolls have given me an exotic and I haven't gotten an exotic engram either. I've put several hours into this DLC so far and was just wondering if anyone else hadn't run across a single exotic yet.

I've gotten Black Talon, Hardlight, Suros Regime and Ace of Spades since Forsaken release. All except Ace came from a powerful engram.

I bought 1 from Xur (the warlock helm) but only because my previous helm was 434 and everything else, weapon&armor, I had was >490 so it really helped push my overall light level up since the other vendors did the same the High Power engrams do, gives me, boots, boots, and more boots, followed by nothing but boots (the probability of that happening in one streak I had on my Titan was <0.001%, and they make no acknowledgement that there's an issue with their RNGebus). But as for drops. Been playing a ton since it was released, and still no exotic drops. But honestly I don't want them to all drop in the first week. Don't get me wrong there's a couple I REALLY want but I remember the grind, followed by elation when I finally got my GJally. In fact even though I ran Vault weekly on all 3 char's I never got the Mythoclast till a month after the yr3 version came out. Thus I'm still giddy when I jump back into D1 and get a chance to play with it.

It's not really a big deal in my opinion. I don't mind it taking longer to get Exotics. However, with there being so many Exotics to get it makes it much harder to get new Exotics if you have bad luck. For me I would just like to get one exotic eventually just to get the ball rolling. The Exotics are cool but my main thing is to get the three Exotics from D1 which is the queen breaker, the wolf one, and the dreg one.

I've played about 40 hours or so and still nothing. I like it though. Not missing out on anything special that I know about.

Just two which were year ones. Not too bothered tbh as getting exotics was far too frequent before and stopped feeling special.

The streamers I mean the community leaders told them too much loot was bad.....So bungie says well we can handle that no problem.

1 ReplyI’m happy with the lowered drop rate but I’ve been reasonably lucky with exotics. Black talon, new warlock boots, starfire over first couple of days then yesterday I got nezarecs, claws of ahamkara, lunafaction boots. I’m not counting the ones from a leviathan and an eater last night of course for obvious reasons.

Been playing since Tuesday and got two exotics and the borealis catalyst.

Not as yet, but for me at least, I like the change. They were too easy to get before. Getting an exotic you've been after for ages was always a great feeling back in D1, which was completely killed by them dropping like candy in the sequel. I'm sure people will still complain, saying their rng is broken, but I see it as an improvement in the long run.

I got the new exotic sword as a random drop from a Vex in a strike on forsaken release day, and I got a jade rabbit yesterday, but nothing since.

Got the Titan Ursa Furiosa gauntlets I believe from the Strike weekly challenge. They’re focused around Sentinel which is great considering I chose to unlock Thundercrash and that’s all I’ve used since, those arms have gotten a ton of use 😂

I’m not happy with this loot system period I always get the same 2 things OVER AND OVER again VESTIAN DYNASTY and misfit.....I LUCKILY got the borealas but CMON it’s technically not a new weapon tho it is for the Xbox player (which I am)

Yes they are dropping, but they will be more rare than pre-Forsaken D2 or even D1.

Does chaperone count? Haven't gotten any random drop exotics though.

Phoenix Protocol and Cerberus+1 are 2 new exotics that I have.
