I think it should be a combination of wins and losses plus your personal performance per game

I got screwed twice yesterday someone quit at beginning of match and we still almost won and i did well but got the L with no credit for all my kills etc

Also on overwatch at the end of matches u can request your team to stay together and then its easier to go on a long winning streak
