Halo 5 Helioskrill
I was thinking about getting Halo MCC just to get Helioskrill. Is it worth it?

The achievement is more worth it than the armor, although the armor is indeed cool. Nothing feels better than rubbing that achievement in peoples’ faces.

For the Helioskrill armor alone? No. Because it’s an amazing collection of games with a metric ass-ton of achievements? Absolutely.

FYI Halo 3: ODST is available as part of the MCC but only as a paid DLC. Reasonably priced in my opinion.

Yeah it is, despite what others may say the majority of MCC’s issues are with its MP not with the Campaigns. Though depending on wether it’s fixed or not be prepared for a wait for the ‘legendary’ achievement to POP as mine took around a month.

If you just want Helioskrill? No. However, if you do want to play through the games, the value is good, and I can’t recommend it enough.

I love the MCC even though I don’t play it nearly enough. Don’t just get the MCC for Helioskrill in Halo 5. I mean it is nice and all, but I wouldn’t get it just to get an armor set for Halo 5. Get it because it honestly is a pretty great collection.

Mcc is a great set. It's also getting a big quality of life update soon. The armor can be found in gold req. Packs in game(Halo 5).

1 ReplyI’m pretty sure you can just get the darn thing through packs now. Or at least some variant of it. But going through the campaigns on legendary with a buddy is one hell of a good time.
