Is there a lore based reason DO hasn't left the solar system yet?
If it's because they "aren't ready yet" have they defined what "ready" means to them?

What i get out of their mission is that dead orbit doesnt want to just take all the loyal gaurdians and bail on the city, they want everyone to come with them, civilians of the city, the vangaurd, everyone possible or willing. Which is essentially what they did, albeit rushed and temporarily, when they evacuated to titan. Which didn't turn out so great. They are probably rebuilding their fleet, scouting for a better, safer area(read: not a hive breeding ground) and gaining as many people to their cause as they can.
also, what happened to that fleet ship form ttk? why didn't the send a warning or a distress beacon when ghaul entered the system? where is it? did they get wiped out? I guess it is DO, so it's possible. but why did no one mention it? did they abandon the city? if so tf, and give their coords so I may make them one with the void
All talk.. I say we Monarchy members cut a deal with FWC. And give DO the ships and man power to leave.. My bet is they either loose their base and end up staying or twist it around into leaving home would make them too sad and still stay. In short lets call their bluff.

Like most nihilistic black clothed introverts, we’d really just rather think about leaving while drinking whiskey and listening to some Norwegian metal...

Especially since the tower got attacked, I mean we were all almost wiped out like they said we would be

Waiting for their BF to beg them to stay. I like the way their stuff looks, but god they are the most Emo faction.

If you're gunna leave the solar system that contains literally everything you need to live, you might wanna properly stock up as to not become extinct in less than 100 years

They need a large enough fleet to be able to establish a decent galactic presence, and the crew to man them. They likely lost quite a few ships in the assault on the city. And, regardless of the edge, they likely won't just up and abandon the people of the city.

A handout.

Gotta admit. Their armor looks spiffy af with the Vanguard Discipline shader.
