<Let's continue, shall we?
A visitor ignites the sky, and in the truth of light it dreams:
Above the dead and yet-to-die, a legion's blade with fire screams.
- Traveler's Judgement 5
First line? Easy, it's the Traveler.
Second? Well... it could be a couple things. The more obvious one would be the Cabal and the Red Legion.
The less obvious one would be the Darkness but that's PURE speculation because we don't know what the Darkness calls its direct minions.
An army meets, and stands, and falls. Three nobles wage their hopeless war.
In shifting madness, evil crawls. One stands above the battle's roar.
- Jack Queen King 3
This isn't the first time the 3 nobles thing has been used.
Toland used this to describe the Darkness, the Light, and ~UNKNOWN~. This is a war between law, light, and dark. But who stands above the battle's roar?
They sowed the First, now reap the Last; forever narrows to a line
Where Light will fade into the past; when all's converted, nothing shines.
- Infinite Paths 8
They planted the first seed. They reap the last. Light will fade when all is converted, and nothing shines.
This is about the Vex and the Dark Future.
Amid the endless death one flew—unnatural all-consuming need—
And in the space between the two, accursed comprehension freed.
- Sol Pariah 6
No -blam!-ing clue. I can't decipher riddles. Someone help me out with this.
A sacred eye that speaks in lies—upending futures in its path.
The way before us to the skies shall see itself in ancient wrath.
- Null Calamity 9
Darkness. It does upend futures. Do you think the Fallen would be here would it not for the Deep? We could've touched the stars if the Darkness didn't come and destroy everything we worked toward. I'm not sure about the eye, but it does speak in lies... or is it just a tenebrous truth?
Seriously though, someone help me with Sol Pariah, I have no -blam!-ing clue what it's talking about.>
-
Sol Pariah is about the Traveler itself.
A sacred eye that speaks in lies—upending futures in its path. The way before us to the skies shall see itself in ancient wrath
This is describing Panoptes & it destroying the future as we know it.
Amid the endless death one flew—unnatural all-consuming need— And in the space between the two, accursed comprehension freed.
This story explains it:
Osiris stood at the far end of the Underwatch, his back to her. "We need to talk," she said. Sagira turned. He did not. "I'm surprised you came alone. Have you finally learned confidence?" "Yes." Ikora clenched her fists, then released them. "Not from you." He crossed his hands behind his back. "I know why you're here." "I should hope so." "This meeting was prophesied. As is my impending banishment." "Then you had ample warning." "This is ridiculous!" Sagira snapped. "We're at war. Osiris does what you all are too scared to do, and you banish him? How're you gonna win against the Darkness without him?" Osiris held up a hand to silence her. "Ikora knows," he said. "She pretends otherwise, but she knows." "Winning by your terms is no victory." Ikora's hands were fists again. She unclenched them. "Goodbye, Osiris."
Sol Pariah could either be referring to Saint-14 or Osiris as well. Both of them left the city in self-imposed exile, one to escape the limitations imposed by the speaker, the other in chase of the first. This marks them both as Pariahs. Going off the riddle alone, it almost reads like a summary of the Curse of Osiris opening cinematic.Osiris literally walked amidst a battle where death was ready to flow paused only by some arcane power, in his need to to understand the Vex plan. The vex plans are most certainly accursed from the Guardians point of view, they seek our destruction after all. The only problem with this being about Osiris is that according to the comic book, which as far as I know is canon. Osiris made these 'prophecies' based off of predictive analysis. Why would he tell the city in a scholarly journal his intentions. I do understand that these might have had some creative license taken in the reprinting of his analyses, but it sounds unlikely to make a predictive analysis of his own actions. Saint-14 also fits if you think about where we find his corpse in the future vex simulation. I would like to break her for a minute to point out that that situation is a future simulation, which means that Saint-14 is possibly, and likely still alive somewhere. Anyways Saint-14 would likely slaughter his way through Vex trying to find his friend, creating our endless death. His obedience and love for the speaker was often thought weird by others making his need to find Osiris unnatural. Finally the last bit of the riddle, accursed comprehension freed, can have two grammatical meanings. Either the two become aware of some truth that is Freed from some mystery, riddle, or lie. It can also mean that between the two there can be no comprehension, or understanding, which can free the relationship to be unburdened by that knowledge. Its a dense grammatical structure which leaves much open to interpretation, personally I would like this to be about Saint-14, because then it makes for a lovely story about the interplay between duty and friendship.

If Infinite Paths 8 is any clue, the source acts as a hint. Sol Pariah reminds me of Oryx and Crota. Yet the terminology points to Osirus. Sol being used by Bungie to name the Sun. -blam!- out of luck describing his situation. The curse may be his ability to know the future but never guarantee its prevention. No matter how much he shouts, he's merely Sarah Connor at the park. The space between bodies reminds me of how one would describe the Void. Maybe it speaks of Osiris and Toland's wisdom? Or maybe it speaks to Bungie's inability to stop the Vex that infect their game?

Edited by Bacon Wrapped: 1/31/2018 3:52:01 PMI think are probably Jack Queen King be Cayde-6, Ikora and Zavala and the other line is the player Guardian as the one standing above the "roar". Who knows though? Osiris is a bit of bastard for writing in riddles.
-
I think the names of the weapons are codenames for the subject of each prophecy. So if you think of a literal "sol pariah" it's likely something or someone that is between suns or stars. The Conqueror was clearly Ghaul, like you said. Maybe this was obvious to others but it only just occurred to me.
-
Could sol pariah be referring to toland and oryx maybe? Flying through the endless death is toland exploring the ascendant realm and accursed comprehension freed being us 'freeing' orxy from the worm contract of understanding? First thing I thought of.
-
For sol pariah, could it be talking about Oryx? He had an unnatural need to consume, he could fly, he was among endless death due to his need to feed his worm, and comprehended the Deep when he killed Akka.
-
I think Sol pariah may be the darkness and the traveler. All the darkness does is consume everything in it's path. The space between the two may mean the things found in between the two, like a scale. Darkness, taken, hive, normal creatures, humans, guardians, traveler. I have no clue what "accursed comprehension" means.

Edited by Architect Mind: 1/30/2018 4:36:48 AMSol pariah, maybe the traveler in a since the yet to die humans, and the dead (gaurdians)...need to read it again. Lol oops thinking of a different one, but kinda the same, in that if there was a war going on amid all the death, it finally unleashes itself?
-
I was thinking jack queen king, could be the three factions who maybe end up actually going to war with each other. It would be hopeless. At which point I think savathun attacks, while we squabble with each other.
