I thought the entire purpose if Xur's "special" engram was to get exotic equipment you don't already own. But I received a Starfire protocol, level 305. I have one that's 304.... I have multiple other on my character at 335.... I'm just at the end of a very long, disappointing road. I play side by side with my wife and the sheer unbalanced reward system is maddening to say the least. If I out perform her in Crucible, have better stats in strikes, and overall perform at a higher level, then why the hell does she get more and better drops? I played from day one. She started both D1 and D2. She started more than a month after D2 released and she and I exclusively played together. My progress was shunted and she was able to hit the 305 cap. I never could get there until the expansion released.... I'm just struggling to pick up the controller these days...
