Prohibition and Dragons

When it comes to Dungeons & Dragons, there are a variety of different types and settings available. Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance are probably two of the more common settings, though I would love to try Spelljammer at some point. Even then, many make their own homebrew settings to compliment their preferences. Recently, however, found myself wondering something. Has anyone tried a prohibition era themed campaign? Instead of adventurers, you would be a team of bootleggers employed by a local dwarf businessman who runs a speakeasy on the side. Your quests would include seeking out sources of liquor for your employer, procuring illicit magical items, outrunning local authorities, evading the Elvish Bureau of Investigation (the EBI), and having shootouts with the rival business owner and his half-orc thugs. It would be all the regular high jinks of D&D, but with fedoras and Tommy guns. Does anyone else think this could be a fun campaign?
