So they get caught throttling the XP.
Then they said they turn it off and they double the XP from 80.000 to 160.000....!!!
So its kinda they get caught decreasing number candy in the bag...now the put the correct number and double the price.
Way to go to express of apologize.
Bet they are working on the background to Rigged the Bright engram now.
They will set the XP back to 80.000 but you will only get the same shader and mod over and over unless you buy it with real money.
Just like other the rigged RNG in D2.

Back in D1 if you grinded something over and over, say the Imago Loop, the more you grinded the more shitty rolls you got. Bungie has been throttling loot for forever. The only reason they got caught is because xp had an actual bar you could read. You couldn’t read your chances at getting a Fakebringer. They have been secretly doing shady things to the player base since the introduction of TTK.

True..they has been doing this shady business since D1..We can feel it. Everyone has some exotic that will never drop no matter how much you get the exotic engram.

People will say that this is "tin foil" hat territory, but this matches up so well with Bungie. When was the last time they admitted something without meddling with things in the background? They refuse to let the playerbase win. It's no where near what EA did but the same business practices just with non-important stuff.

Not only that, I'm never a conspiracy theorist, but Bungie sold items (fireteam medallions and promotional pop tarts) using Real World Currency, then deliberately nerfed those purchased items by as much as 95%. This is deliberate and deceitful. Selling somebody something, then deliberately making that item effectively useless.
