It's possible what exactly is happening when you try to matchmake?

It says matchmaking and all that stuff but it is only ever 1/8 that one obviously being me and it doesn’t matter how long I wait it’s just me

Can you directly join other people on your friends list and what happens when you got to public spaces like the farm or patrol areas are there ever any other players or are they empty what system are you on

I am on PS4 all social spaces are completely empty the only time I ever see other players is when I join into others if someone else joins onto me it is just me and however many people join

If you are with a fireteam and someone else takes the fireteam lead and starts matchmaking will it find matches or will it still just sit and not join anyone else

If I join on someone else and they didn’t join on me we can matchmake but if they join me and I give them lead I don’t think it match-makes when I tried I my didn’t work so I left then joined on them and it worked

Also make sure your router is running the most updated firmware

How savy are you with networking and router setup? Are you on an Ethernet cable or wireless

I’m on wireless but I did play with an wired connection and it made no difference. Personally not good at setting them up but I can get someone to help with that if you have a suggestion.

Ok so what I would suggest is one of the following option 1 is easy and you probably already did it if not try that first option 2 can be harder to get setup properly but usually fixes issues with destiny option 3 is almost always the ultimate fix it takes some know how to setup properly but is probably the most sure fire way to ensure all the necessary network traffic reaches your PS4 1. Make sure upnp is turned on 2. Manually set up port forwarding to your PS4 with the list of ports that d2 requires which can be found somewhere in the troubleshooting faq 3. setting up what is called a DMZ or demilitarized zone which puts your PS4 outside of your routers firewall this can be accomplished by assigning your PS4 a static IP address and then assigning that IP address to the DMZ after you have created it some routers make this process easier than others Hopefully one of these will fix your issue

So it definitely sounds like a networking issue is your NAT type 2 and do you have any kind of odd internet setup

No not really I am in a very remote part of the world tho google the Falkland Islands and you will see haha but my connection is fine
