My suggestion is to have the perks unlocked with an 'Upgrade Token' that you get by completing an Adventure. This would make Adventure's relevant. A gun with 5 perks would require you to grind 5 adventures.

D1 did that with xp, and we all hated it.

While not a bad idea, i would prefer something else. Yes, there are a lot of adventures, but I would like something that lets me decide how to do it (like general exp for usage) so i can do many different things and do what i’m in the mood for doing that day. Maybe i’d like to do a strike. Maybe i’m in a pvp mood.
