banned for nothing
Well I'm seeing many other people saying that they are being banned simply in the first second they are entering the game as I did not even have how to create the character and I did not have the possibility to enter I believe that the program has a bug I read all the rules and I did not nothing to be banned wanted an official response to believe in a bungie transparency.
if you have also been banned without doing anything post here to know the problem!
edit1: apparently a lot of people are being banned for some random reason even without any linked overlay application.

3 RepliesWell this sucks, I was online or several hours yesterday and haven't gotten banned. I'm only using the in-game fps counter but I have MSI running in the background. No overlay, just to show temps in my tray on a different monitor but now I'm worried.

This is affecting me too, played about 2 hours then suddenly banned. No changes that I know of to any software running in that time frame. I had Discord (with overlay disabled) and Shadowplay instant replay running the whole time.

Seeing this and reddit filled with bans, potentially about software issues - It can't hurt for Bungie to look into it, see if there is an underlying issue causing this. The copy and paste method is tiresome and there could legitimately be an issue.

2 RepliesGoing to try using all the methods I've been reading about when I get home and see if I get banned doing so. If it happens, I'll refund the game and slap myself for even giving Bungie another chance. If it doesn't happen, I'll keep the game.

Nobody should get banned minutes into the game. Get a refund if you can the game is not that great anyways. It's a mediocre game and wouldn't hold your interest after 20 hrs.
