banned for nothing
Well I'm seeing many other people saying that they are being banned simply in the first second they are entering the game as I did not even have how to create the character and I did not have the possibility to enter I believe that the program has a bug I read all the rules and I did not nothing to be banned wanted an official response to believe in a bungie transparency.
if you have also been banned without doing anything post here to know the problem!
edit1: apparently a lot of people are being banned for some random reason even without any linked overlay application.

5 RepliesI got banned as well. If you're telling me someone can't even talk to me about the ban, I'll be looking into a chargeback. This is absolutely ridiculous. I use nothing different than what I did in the beta or for OW or any other blizzard product and I'm well in my ToS agreement. I'm 100% requesting that it's looked into or you can deal with the chargeback.

4 RepliesBeen banned as well, after playing for three hours yesterday. Got home today from college and there it is, ban. Serioulsy considering a refund. I pay with my hard earned money for a game I've always wanted to play but couldn't due to only having a pc (Destiny 1), to then be banned for no reason while the company behind accuses me of being the one to blame. Specs: i7-7700; Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming; 16GB 2666 Crucial Ballistix Elite; ASUS Strix H270F; Seagate Barracuda 2TB.

Bliz won't won't return my money because i "played to long".. argh! This is BS. I was playing on a fresh install of windows 10 (1709 - "fall update") i9-7980, titan Xp SLI, no geforce exp, but using the 388.00 Destiny 2 drivers. software running, Outlook 2016, skype4b 2016, Edge, Remote desktop, battle.net launcher, Afterburner 4.4.- beta 19, logitech gaming keyboard/mouse software, core temp. I was banned around 5:20PM EST (10/24/2017, day of launch) clearly I played some hours as I made it to level 14. I have like 2 dozen things on my task bar and over a hundred entries in my task manager's process list (chrome and svchost are about half of that). If you don't like a program on my computer then tell me which one it is, and rather or not I need to remove it entirely or just make sure it isn't running when Destiny 2 is running. A thought occurs: Destiny 2 reacts to Xbox game-pad commands even when it is not the active window (only side effect seems to be a 30 fps limit). Could that have caused it to look like I was running a bot since I was playing Destiny 2 without it being the active window? I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that I had only beaten the first mission and then went afk, I had not even gotten far enough to really even attempt to cheat. And some people were banned before they even got through character selection. Sure seems awfully convenient for Bungie that they get to handle and/or cover up literally every aspect of an investigation into their own screw-up while also refusing to show any evidence. If read about it on reddit, they better prepare an apoligy fix and stop blocking harmless software already, msi afterburner is't a -blam!-ing cheat neither is discord obs etc, stop being lazy devs and get proper anti cheat or do proper investigation before banning instead of automated bans, are you crazy............ i wont stop using msi afterburner its just harmless overclocking software that also can show hardware stats.

It’s pretty sad. I have this game on console and bought it for pc as well. Guess it’s a good thing I havent played it yet. I’ll be requesting a refund without even attempting to play the pc version.

They take a lot of time to simple see a problem, more time to plan a fix and much more time to fix it....maybe months. So my best advise, if you still can do it, request a refund. I played D2 in PS4 for about 03 weeks and step away of it (i played D1 for 2.5 years). For me the game is so broken, with no real end game content, boring, tedious, with no replay ability that i will be happy to have a refund. I wish i bought the hard copy of the game in order to sell it.

3 RepliesWell this sucks, I was online or several hours yesterday and haven't gotten banned. I'm only using the in-game fps counter but I have MSI running in the background. No overlay, just to show temps in my tray on a different monitor but now I'm worried.

So many people not being able to make new friends... last i remembered was this game was about making friends not getting loot. But if you get banned you can do neither where's the fun Bungievision?

It happened 4 hours in and I got to level 9 and I tryed to refund through bNet, but I apparently had access to too much of the game already and wasn't able to get refunded and now i'm out 60 dollars for a game I can't even play anymore.
